Bill Carson has had a love for woodcarving since his first class in woodshop in high school. A carver for over 45 years, Carson has resided in the Lake Tahoe area since 1989. In the early 1980’s Carson owned a foundry in Ventura County, California. At that time, he specialized in bronze sculptor and taught the lost wax process at the Hobbit School of Art in Ventura.

Carson’s love for his craft and the skills developed over the years combine to create work filled with soul and expertise. Carson takes a piece of wood or clay and creates a masterpiece personified with a spirit of its own.
