Christopher Paul Cobb

The works of Christopher Cobb are abstract, almost impressionistic, frequently painted with bright vibrant colors.  Christopher Paul Cobb has fostered a distinctive style that has been characterized by art experts as "world class."  Grandson of Ty Cobb, who in 1936 became the first member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame, Cobb states that he tries to emulate his grandfather's determination to be the best he can be at all times.

Influenced by teachers James Jarvaise, Don Dudley and Jack Kling at Chouinard Art School in Los Angeles, Cobbs' devotion to his talent has resulted in a uniquely distinct style.  Many works display an accumulation, comprehension and understanding of the life force that guides and influences us all.  His interpretations of these forces can be discerned throughout his work in the vast line energy, symbolism and balance that is present.
