Lona Fratini has over fifteen years experience as a painter working in oils. Fratini says she is involved in the world of painting by choice, not by chance. A Reno resident for the past thirty years, Fratini began painting when she retired. Since then, she has steadily polished and expanded her skills over the years. Fratini states she loves to paint the beauty around her. Retirement, says Fratini, has given her many opportunities to experiment and advance her creative ambitions. Her work is included in numerous private collections and has been shown in exhibitions in both California and New Mexico.
