Eileen Fuller
Eileen Fuller has had a love of art and drawing since she was five years old. She wasn't able to pursue her artistic dreams full-time until January 2004, after raising a family and leaving a career in the corporate world. She has always taken classes and travelled to beautiful places as inspiration for her part-time painting, but was previously restricted in her pursuit.
Eileen has a realistic style in her watercolors that give you a sense of being in the scene. She has also done commission works such as childrens' portraiture, indoor wall murals (in acrylic), and pet portraiture. Her favorite subjects are of the great outdoors, including the beauty of the seasons of Northern Nevada, but not restricted to any one area. She has travelled repeatedly to Great Britain and Scotland, and was able to also paint in France, the Carribean, California, Washington, Utah and Florida.
"I prefer to begin my paintings on site, en plein aire, but usually finish in the studio. I have thousands of reference photos to tap into for inspiration of places I've been. If you have photos of a favorite location that you would like to have commemorated in a painting, I can do that for you!"
Eileen is a member of the Nevada Artists Association, the Sierra Watercolor Society, and the Latimer Art Club, the oldest art club in Nevada.
