Heidi Lawson, originally from Idaho, has resided and enjoyed the Reno, Nevada area for over 19 years with her husband Greg and twin sons, Jessy and Jake. Heidi has been known to pull out a canvas and brushes while her boys adventure in the Sierras! While originally exposing her sons to art classes, Heidi found her love for painting acrylic as well. Heidi finds intense color to be the core of her art….whether bright and bold or more neutral and muted, the selection chosen and ultimately created, is the key to the intensity and captivation. As an Interior Designer, Realtor and Mother, painting is Heidi’s outlet and passion. She specializes in painting Contemporary, Semi-Abstract Landscapes…mostly desert and water scenes. While the desert is full of hidden beauties, Heidi finds herself most at home and in her element at the ocean….the very best fuel for her hobby. She aspires to paint art with meaning….uplifting others. Heidi believes that like music, art speaks to individuals differently and reflects aspects of their lives they can relate to. Heidi also does commissioned art, customizing a painting for your home, based on you color palette, interior décor, and wall space.
