Mark Hammon is a professional photographer who attended college at Hayward State. He had at one time a rental darkroom, store and studio while doing commercial and product photography. His work has been seen in many venues, including the Wall Street Journal. Mark is best known for his fine art photography, which is featured at Wildflower Village Gallery and in several galleries in the Reno-Tahoe area. He has received notable recognition for his “Edge of the Storm” photograph of Lake Tahoe in the Illustrative category from the Professional Photographers of Nevada, Septemberr Quarterly Edition. Digital Photography - In this workshop you will learn about the camera’s features such as the lens, filter, and creative techniques. There will be a discussion on composition, file formats, workflow, and Adobe Photoshop. You will learn about printers, printer ink, and color management. Mark Hammon will be the instructor, and will guide you through the many photographic techniques and options that digital imaging offers. Mark has several works that are printed in large formats to encapsulate panoramic views. Starting in high school he became proficient with computers, and that lead him to a successful career in computer graphics. Mark has been published several times as a computer artist, game developer and desktop publisher. To Mark, digital photography offers the photographer the tools and the creative options that were not available in this art form with film.
