Out-of-town guests get discounts on motel and B&B rooms at the Wildflower Village plus 10% discount on all art. Wildflower Village is an art-smart, unique experience, converted by Pat Campbell-Cozzi from four old 1940′s motels into an art-smart village on 6+ acres, housing galleries, artist studios, a coffee shop, pub, wedding chapel gallery, quaint bed & breakfast rooms with a gourmet champagne breakfast, hostel rooms, and motel rooms for an overnight or extended stay.

All of the unique shops and galleries at the Wildflower Village are pulling together for a “Mothers’ Day Eve” parade of art, gifts, and fun for all, and all within walking distance of each other!

At 4275 W. 4th Street are artists’ studios. Greg Carlson in Studio # 1 has his very popular abstracts in acrylic. And you may catch him doing what he loves — painting outside. Jacqui Isensee in #4 and #5 paints her impressionistic oils.  She loves for visitors to stop by!

Bellas’ Trunk at 4305 B is a funky and fun vintage boutique. They will be serving light snacks and drinks with 20% off all glassware and furniture in celebration of Mothers’ Day.

Across the parking lot from Bella’s at 4305 is the Chapel Gallery holding more art, photography, oils, and acrylics by Christopher Cobb, and vintage rock’n'roll posters from way back. Also housed in the Chapel Gallery is the Absinthe Pub owned and operated by Pat Campbell.

We move on to 4335 W. 4th to Indie Reno, a co-op of artists and crafters. The main feature for May is Francis Cascarano, who masters lovely, hand-painted silk scarves.

Top it off with a great latté and biscotti at our coffeeshop, 4395 W. 4th,
and enjoy the beautiful Plein Air work of Scott Harvey.

The early class will be held from approximately 4pm until approx. 4:45. The second class should run from about 5 until 7pm. We start with the coffee shop, which serves a variety of gourmet tastes with en plein air art by Scott Harvey.

Next door is the Open Door Gallery with IndieReno, fine art, crafts from local artists, art classes, and our internationally-recognized Nana facing W 4^th St.

Bella’s Trunk offers vintage-inspired new and recycled gifts for you and your home. Their yard art is often displayed in the garden facing W 4^th St. Chuck Cozzi does wood turning on lathes next door and at the back of that building is a pottery shop where you may find Paris Almond teaching classes in the summer or potters creating clay art.

The most easterly building has artists’ studios. Look for Jacqui Isensee in her Red Door Studio where she creates impressionist pieces in oils in all sizes and variety of subject matter; her prices will surely make you want to take at least one home. Carole-Ann Ricketts should inspire you with her painting and print works, Patty Melton’s acrylic and watercolor works and portraiture are to be found in her cozy studio where she will happily share a cup of tea with you. Greg Carlson shows and has a studio at the Wildflower, as well, where his acrylic abstracts will make you wish you could paint as he does. Check out Pam Sutton’s studio where she creates fused, slumped, and torch glass work, making functional kitchen wares and jewelry.
